Tales of the Vale was two projects in one, both undertaken by enthusiastic groups of volunteers.

The first group was mentored in historical research, producing their own original pieces on a wide variety of local subjects.

The second group learned how to record oral histories with almost 50 interviewees.

Together, this treasure trove was translated into a Tales of the Vale book and CD, which you can read and listen to below.
