Volunteer Voices

Our volunteers were the heart and soul of A Forgotten Landscape; without them our projects just couldn’t have been achieved. They were dedicated, talented, curious, friendly and willing. But don’t accept our word for it! You can read about what they did in their own words, below.

Altogether, over 400 volunteers gave up 2,357 days’ worth of their precious time. What’s more, we know that many of them continued working together in the groups that had been created for A Forgotten Landscape or went on to volunteer for other local projects.
