Discover Shaping the Landscape

Buildings

A Forgotten Landscape is divided in two by the Severn Bridge. Buildings on the southern half tell the story of Bristol’s expansion over the last two centuries. Buildings on the northern half recall the agricultural past of the area.

There are also many wonderful examples of churches and religious buildings across the area, which contribute to the wide range of other local architecture in the Lower Severn Vale Levels.
